Daryl Gene Smart

Daryl Gene Smart (one half of the us’s) 56, of Greenville passed of natural causes at his home on December 4, 2017. He is survived by siblings Donna (Curt) Mills, Delores Craigo, Diane Revels, Robert (Linda) Smart, Andrew (Bobbie) Smart, C.H. Smart, Dwight (Sue) Roach, Henry (Cleo) Poore, his twin brother Harold Smart, all of South Carolina, Larry Joe Smart of Tennessee, Ronnie Smart of Florida and many loved nieces and nephews. Step-children Jodi (Marty) Chastain, Richard (Melissa) Orman of South Carolina, Brandon (Audey) Orman and Jeremy (Christina) Orman of Michigan and many loved grandchildren. He also had 5 great grandchildren.
Daryl’s special grandchildren, his “Buzzard”, Jeremiah Tate and his “Baby Girl”, Liz Chastain, will miss fishing with him, building and tinkering in his shop and helping him to build his Santa Claus collection. Timothy Chastain and Kacey Chastain will miss him and his sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his father R.J. Roach, his mother Louise Smart, special brother-in-law Herschel Craigo and sister-in-law Wanda Smart.
A small private ceremony will be held by the family. The family is at their respective homes.
