Darlene Kelly

Darlene went to be with the Lord the morning of May 31st at the age of 54 after a long and strong fight with health issues.  She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.  Darlene was born in Baltimore, MD on June 15, 1959, but moved to South Carolina when she was 12.  She married the love of her life, Ronnie Kelly, on January 9, 1974.  They celebrated their 40th anniversary this year.



Darlene is survived by her husband Ronnie Kelly; two children: Alisha Watson and Lisa Kelly (Tim); six grandchildren: Alexis, Miranda & Cole Lollis, Austin Watson and Jasmine & Roxanna Abrams.  Darlene is also survived by her mother: Judy Sawyer; siblings: Diane Hix, Jesse Welch, JR, Debbie Duncan (Cecil), and Claude Welch (Brenda).  She was preceded in death by her brother Danny Welch and father Jesse Welch, SR.



Visitation will be at the home of Wendell and Susan Kelly, #5 3rd Ave. Judson Greenville SC 29611, beginning Wednesday June 4th at 11am and ending Thursday, June 5th at 2pm.  The service will be at 3pm at Westville Funeral Home Chapel and interment will immediately follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Piedmont.
