Danny (Dan) Joe Tobias

Danny (Dan) Joe Tobias of Greenville, South Carolina, formerly of Dexter, Michigan, age 81, passed away at his home, on Thursday, November 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forest I. Tobias and Phyllis J. (Klager) Tobias. Dan graduated from University High School Ann Arbor, Michigan. He served In the United States Air Force and retired from the Army National Guard. He was also a member of the IBEW Local 252 Electrical Union as a Master Electrician. Dan was a member of Beech Springs Church Pelzer, SC where he volunteered in many areas, but most recently with the men in the Hope Center. This work was a very important part of Dan's life, and he believed in the men he worked with. Outside of his work, he enjoyed the outdoors, inventing gadgets, and working with wood. Dan loved helping people and serving the Lord. 

He leaves behind his wife Evelyn (Meggison) Tobias, daughter Barbie Pyle, son William Tobias, daughter Brenda Logan (Roger), son Robert Tobias (Patty), 15 Grandchildren and 22 Great grandchildren, his brother Jim (Barbara) Tobias, his brother Keith (Karen) Tobias , his sister Kaye Tobias his brother Kim (Tee) Tobias and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind several dear friends that were family within his heart.
