Daniel L. Green

Daniel L. Green, 87 and 11 months, of Greenville, SC (previously Simi Valley, California) went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.  Daniel was born in Portville, NY and had served with the US Navy in Normandy and also served in the US Army.  He married his beloved wife, Geraldine on September 17, 1944.

Mr. Green attended North Hills Community Church and loved to tell people about Jesus.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Dennis D. Green (Vicky) of Greer, SC and a daughter, Darlene Jones (DJ) of PA, 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and one very special cat, Loveable.  Daniel was an avid bowler all of his life and a Pentecostal Evangelist for many years.

The funeral service will be at 12:00 pm Thursday, May 15 at North Hills Community Church, Taylors, SC.  Burial will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
