Daniel Tobias Atkins

February 25, 1961 — November 27, 2023

Daniel Tobias Atkins passed away at 61 years of age. He was the son of Melvin and Patricia Bryson. He was caught up home by the Lord on November 27th, 2023. Tobias was an employee of ADUSA distribution transportation where he drove a truck for Food Lion.
He leaves to share his fun memories sister, Brenda Dixon (LTC Roland M Dixon) Savannah, Georgia,
two nieces: Amber D Sykes of Columbia, South Carolina Dana Dixon -Jones( Lowell JONES ),1 Aunt Nellie-Ruth Bowens. Tobias also leaves behind Delbert Bryson, Daryl (Katrina) Atkins, Corey Atkins and Joyce Atkins and a whole host of other family and friends. He was predeceased in death by his mother and step father.
Tobias accepted the Lord at an early age at the Mt Emmanuel Baptist Church of Greenville, South Carolina. Tobias continued to study the word and walk with the Lord all his life. His final church home was Relentless in Greenville. Always faithful, Daniel tithed and worked within the Relentless Church ministry.
He moved to Detroit, Michigan at the age of nine with his parents and sister. He was educated in the Detroit and Greenville public school systems. He loved sports and played four years of high school football.
Tobias was a quiet and gentle soul, to know him was to love him. He was kindhearted and was known for the love and care he showed his family and friends. Tobias loved his mother. His nieces would often refer to him as "baby boy". Tobias was one who was willing to help out anyone in need.
He will be greatly missed by all those whom cherished him as he did them as well. "Well done, good and faithful servant."
