Dale Roger Odom

Dale Roger Odom, age 63, of Pelzer, South Carolina, passed on August 30, 2022, away after a long and well lived life. Dale took his final breath, surrounded by his loved ones. He was predeceased by his father: Jackie Rogers Odom; child: Lana Verdiguel; granddaughter: Alana Shirley; and his beloved dog Dixie. Dale is survived by his spouse: Phyllis D. Odom; children: Travis Odom, Kevin Odom and spouse Reece, Kevin Shirley, Kayla Brownlee and husband Calvin, Dakota Shirley and spouse Bailey; mother: Emily Odom; brother: Allen Odom; grandchildren: Keith Blackwell, Destiny Odom, Noah Odom, Tiffany Odom, Cami Campbell, AJ Martinez, Tina Martinez, Valery Martinez, Gaberiel, Nubia, Catala, Caliana, Calleah, Kennyan, Mariah, Adrianna, Calaysia, K’Shayla, Stetson Shirley; nieces and nephews: Bethany Spain, Amanda Odom, David (Hot Rod) Odom, Bella, Hunter, Bristol, Grayson.
Dale was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. For 18 years, he was a former Firefighter with the Piedmont Fire Department. Dale retired from Kohler. An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, motorcycles, and watching movies. He especially loved his wife, mother, little brother, his family, and his dogs: Dixie and Stella. Dale will be forever loved and forever remembered.
Receiving of friends and family will take place on Friday, September 2nd, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Beech Springs Pentecostal Church. 125 Cooley Bridge Rd, Pelzer SC 29669. Followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m.
