Dale Michael Haker, affectionately known as Yankee Mike, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023, in Greenville, SC. Born on January 15, 1957, in Lansing, Michigan, Yankee Mike was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and partner, known for his humor, friendliness, and handyman skills.

Yankee Mike was the son of the late Johnathon "John" Haker. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Sandra "Sandy" Haker, William "Bill" Haker, and Charles "Chuck" Haker. Despite the loss of his immediate family, Yankee Mike's spirit remained unbroken, and he continued to spread joy and laughter wherever he went.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Casey Haker, his cherished grandchildren, Jordyn Garrett and Tallon Haker, and his devoted common-law wife, Teresa Jones. His family was his pride and joy, and he loved nothing more than spending time with them. His laughter and love will be deeply missed but will continue to live on in their hearts.

Yankee Mike was a proud graduate of Holt High School. He spent his career as an electrician, a job that suited his practical, problem-solving nature. His colleagues admired his work ethic and his ability to find humor in any situation. His friendly demeanor and quick wit made him a favorite among his peers.

In his free time, Yankee Mike had a passion for listening to music and playing golf. He was a talented painter and a skilled craftsman, often making walking canes out of wood. Yankee Mike was a man who lived life to the fullest. He was funny, friendly, and handy, always ready with a joke or a helping hand.
