Our mother, Daisy Poole McCall was called to Heaven on February 4, 2018, at the age of 93. She was a great, loving mother and loved by everyone! Mother you will be missed but will remain in our hearts forever. We have lost our best friend who always looked after us.
Born and raised in Greenville County, Daisy was the daughter of the late George Hester Pool and Daisy Della Johnson. Surviving are her children: Melissa M. Harden and husband Danny B. Harden, Jackie Ann Pitts, Ronnie Dale McCall, Timothy Rogers McCall and wife Theresa McCall.
Daisy was pre-deceased by her husband, Elbert Rick “Rastus” McCall, and one son, Wayne Rastus McCall. In addition to her parents and loving husband, Daisy was pre-deceased by three brothers; RL Pool, George Hester Pool, Wade Hampton Pool, and two sisters; Cleo Pool and Rose Lee McCall.
Mom loved cooking for her grandchildren, telling them stories, and camping with them. She loved her flowers and nature. She loved to show her flowers and share the beauty around her with everyone.
Mom, I know you are in Heaven looking down on us! You can breathe now and walk. I miss our talks and the love we shared each day. You brought a ray of sunshine into our lives. I know heaven is beautiful and I will be with you again one day.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
