Cynthia Ann Humphreys

Cynthia Campbell Humphreys, 68, was born December 27, 1955. She left this earth to sit at the feet of Jesus, surrounded by His glory and knowing nothing but joy on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

She was born in Greenville, SC to the late Ralph Barry Campbell and JoAnn Berryhill Campbell. Cynthia graduated from Parker High School in  1974 and went on to become a very successful commercial property manager for most of her adult life. Her co-workers and tenants not only became friends but also an extended family for Cynthia.

More than anything else, Cynthia loved and adored all dogs, especially her Sallie, and her family and friends. Her favorite thing in life was being Yaya to not only her grandchildren but to so many more. She was the most selfless, and she became a second mother and grandmother to many over the years. 

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Humphreys Maness (Jeff), her son, Eric Brent Humphreys, and four grandchildren, Lexi Humphreys, Sydney, Emily, and Will Maness. As well as her brother Christopher Campbell and his family.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and her fiancé, John Jacobs. She was a member of Berea First Baptist Church.

A celebration of life will be held at Berea First Baptist Church on June 15 at 3 pm. The family will receive friends directly after the service.
