Curtis Ted Arrowood, Sr, born on the 1st of September, 1946, peacefully passed away Saturday, November 20th at the home of his youngest daughter in Greer, SC in hospice care. He was predeceased by his father, Carvie William Arrowood, his mother, Margaret Alexander, his older, brother Roy William and his beloved wife Joyce Juanita Henderson. A Father to three children: son Curtis Jr., (wife - Christine) of Clifton, Amy McAbee of Cowpens, and Andrea Krigbaum of Greer (husband - Chad). He was grandfather to Anna Elise Gallman (Chris), Donald Ray McAbee, & Madeline Joy-Beth Krigbaum as well as one great-grandson Christopher Jude Gallman. He is survived by his younger brother Richard. Ted retired from Tietex, Inc in Spartanburg and spent much of his time with his Cowpens and Clifton friends. He was a hard worker as well as a loyal & compassionate friend. The family wants to say thank you to everyone who has prayed, visited, & comforted Ted and the family during his illness. The children are at their respective homes. A favorite song of his was “Just A Rose Will Do,” so in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite non-profit in his name. In his last days, he bonded with his oldest daughter’s dog Daisy and enjoyed having her sit in bed with him. There will be a “Celebration of Life” and Potluck for Ted Sunday, December 26th at 2 pm at 165 East Church Street, Cowpens, SC 29330 (Memories Entertainment Venue).
