Cory Ray Farrell

Cory Ray Farrell of Greenville SC passed unexpectedly on September 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Sue Dunn-Anderson and his paternal grandfather John Farrell. He is survived by his wife Sheneen Ann Farrell; his son Porter Ray Farrell; his mother Ginger Dunn; his maternal grandfather Harold Dunn; his paternal grandmother Faye Andrews; siblings Chad Smith (Nikki), and Ginna Bowen (Preston Hall); his father Randy Farrell (Tonya); siblings Tosha Underwood (DJ), Alisha Hawkins (Larry), Amy Morrow (Chase), Kara Farrell; and many nieces and nephews.

Cory was a big old teddy bear. He was kind, compassionate, forgiving, and he had the most luscious beard ever known to man. He loved to have a good time - when “good time Cory” entered the room, everyone knew the fun was about to begin. He loved sharing jokes, laughs, and the occasional spliff with his buddies. Cory loved football (Go Tigers!), video games, and concerts.

He was an avid music fan – some of his favorites were Clutch, The Deftones, and Tool. Cory was also an accomplished guitarist. Some of his proudest moments were spent teaching his son Porter how to play along with him. He treasured every moment with his family.

Another passion of Cory’s was cooking. He was a master on the grill, and loved hosting family and friends. Thanksgiving was always a special time for him – he got to share his culinary skills with those that he loved the most.
