Connie Rebecca Fortenberry Hewitt

Connie Rebecca Fortenberry Hewitt, of Duncan, SC, 52, passed on August 5, 2022. She was the daughter of Michael George Fortenberry and Patsy Rebecca Brock, born in Spartanburg, SC, on June 6, 1970. Connie is survived by her husband Carl "Sammy" Samuel Hewitt Jr.; children: Rebecca Hewitt Waldrop, Carl Samuel Hewitt III, and Jessica Hewitt Ford; siblings: Tina Gillespie, Crystal Mitchell, Michael Fortenberry, John Harrison (Dana).; and six grandchildren: Hunter Waldrop, Paizlee Mills, Carter Waldrop, Mikenlei Hewitt, Mayson Albright, and Cole Ford. She was a devout Christian. Connie enjoyed crafting, cross stitching, and coloring. She loved Pinterest to make items for her grandkids. Connie will be dearly missed and loved by the ones she left behind. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:00 am at Burnesview Baptist Church in Greer SC.
