Clyde James Carnahan, 74, husband of Patricia (Patsy) Carnahan got his wings on October 31, 2022 at his home in Anderson. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on March 4, 1948 to Twilla Conrad Carnahan and James Nicholas Carnahan. He is survived by a daughter Rene Grossman; step-son Tony Knight (April); granddaughter Madelyne Knight; his brother Thomas Carnahan (Pam) of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his son Nicholas Carnahan; step-son William David Knight; and brother Sam Carnahan.
Clyde served honorably for four years in the Marines, after which he joined the National Guard. He was a member of Honea Path Pentacostal Church.
Clyde was an intelligent man who was knowledgeable in many subject areas. He enjoyed doing ceramics and painting in his free time. He was also a very skilled marksman - who won many a shooting contest while on active duty in the Marines.
Services will be held at a later date at Dolly Cooper Memorial Park.
