Clifford A. " Cliff " Anderson, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away May 19, 2017 at his home. Cliff was born on March 3, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents, Clifford A. Anderson and Dolores Irene (Poppe) Anderson. Cliff spent his life traveling for work as a Nuclear Power Inspector, he enjoyed fishing, he enjoyed building and assembling model ships and planes and enjoyed doing things with his hands. He was a lovable husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Those who will most cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Karen L. Blackston Anderson of Greenville, SC; his son, Kyle E. Anderson Greenville, SC; his sisters, Susan Hannon of Denver, CO, Ellen Green and husband, Doug of Chicago, IL and Bertie Pendergast her husband, Jim of Lawrenceburg, KY; his brother, Carl E. Anderson of Bloomington, IL; his father in law, Clifton L. Blackston of Mauldin, SC; his brothers in law, Dr. Barry C. Blackston and his wife, Maree of Greenville, SC and Kevin Blackston and his wife, Lisa of Simpsonville, SC; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family. Cliff is preceded in death by his parents and his Grandmother Alice and his mother in law, Ruth Blackston.
Services to remember and honor his life will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2017 in the Chapel of the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals on White Horse Road in Greenville. Officiating the services are Deacon Dick Murtaugh. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 P.M. Until 2:00 P.M. At the funeral home. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow services in Graceland Cemetery - West in Greenville.
