Mr. Clarence Layton Epps

Mr. Clarence Layton Epps 78, of Taylors, South Carolina, was surrounded by his family when he passed away peacefully at his home Friday, June 1st, 2018. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina on Saturday, September 30th, 1939, to his parents; William Walker and Lois Nation Epps.
Mr. Epps will be sadly missed by his family; daughters; Patricia Dawn Epps, Helena Joy (Ralph) Dixson, and Cynthia Lynn Epps (Shane Moon), grandchildren; Wesley (Melissa) Clymer, Mandy (James) Chappell, Michael Taylor, Samantha (David) Williams, Alex Clymer, Hannah Moon, Maddie Epps, Seth Moon, and Samuel Moon, great grandchildren; Natalie Clymer, Isabel Chappell, Landon Clymer, Gabby Chappell, and Laurel Williams. As well as his brother; Mr. Carroll Epps, a sister in law; Pat Epps and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents Mr. Epps was predeceased by his brothers; Billy Epps and Wayne Epps.
His service to the nation in the United States Army during the Vietnam War is greatly appreciated. He was a Professor of Sociology at Greenville Technical College. He was a Christian Man that attended Double Springs Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina.
