Clara Rine Clinkscales died Thursday, September 13, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Born June 16, 1957 in Greenville, South Carolina. She was daughter of the late Costell and Bulah Pugh. Clara Clinkscales received her high school Diploma the 28th day of May 1975 from Eastside High School. She attended Greenville Technical College getting her certificates in Medication Technician, Nurse Assistant, Teacher Assistant, and American Sign Languages. Clara Clinkscales attended Refuge Temple Church presiding Apostle Herbert Edwards, Sr. She served on the missionary board for 30 long years. She won many souls to Christ and was the type of woman to give a stranger the clothes off her back. Clara Clinkscales was an example of a Proverbs 31 virtuous woman. She married Bobby L. Clinkscales October 9, 1993.
Survivors: Husband, Bobby L. Clinkscales, of Greenville; Son, Joshua B. Clinkscales, of Greenville; daughters, Melissa M. McCray, of Camden, N.J. and Cianna C.B Clinkscales of Greenville; grandchildren, Chandler S.N McCray and Preston J.N McCray, both of Camden, NJ. In additional to survivors: four sisters, Lula Dogan, Gloria (Antonio) Williams, of Greenville, Tinny Cooper, of Columbia, Bobbie P. (Peter) Kpapharo, of Valley Stream, NY; two brothers, James C. Pugh, Sr., of Greenville and Odell Pugh, of New Orleans, LA.
