Christy Michele Chappell

Christy Michele Chappell, 45, of Pickens, SC, passed away on May 28, 2022. She was the daughter of Charles and Shirley Capps, born in Greenville, SC, on April 17, 1977. Christy was survived by her parents, children: Steven Chappell and Chandler Chappell; brothers: Joseph " Joey" Charles Capps (Brantley) and Robert "Steve" Stephen (Ashley); numerous nephews and nieces; and a special cousin that was close as sisters Shannon Banks. She is preceded in death by her son Brian Tyler Chappell and brother Brian Lee Capps. Christy enjoyed coloring, painting, spending time outside, and being with her family. Christy may have left her worldly body but she will forever be in the hearts of the ones she left behind. The family will be receiving friends on June 9, 2022, at 5 pm at Northside Baptist Church with a memorial service to proceed at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
