Christopher Timothy Baldwin

Christopher Timothy Baldwin, affectionately known as Chris, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Pickens, South Carolina. Born on March 16, 1990, in Paintsville, Kentucky, Chris was a loving, intelligent, and courageous individual who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

Chris was the beloved son of Anita (Dalton) Baldwin and Timothy Baldwin. He was a cherished brother to Elizabeth Dawn Dalton and Ramon Dalton Becerra. He was also a treasured grandson to Nancy Lou Dalton and Betty Lois Baldwin and held dear memories of his late grandfathers, Elmer Dalton, and James Herbert Baldwin.

Chris was a graduate of Paintsville High School and furthered his education by taking construction courses, which paved the way for his career. Despite his struggle with psychosis, Chris was a beacon of hope and resilience, demonstrating that challenges could be overcome with courage and determination.

Chris was a man of many talents and interests. He had a particular fondness for woodwork, a craft that allowed him to express his creativity and precision. His love for baseball was infectious, and he could often be found cheering on his favorite team or playing a friendly game with friends and family. Music was another passion of Chris's, whether he was playing the alto sax, humming a tune, or simply enjoying the rhythm of a song.

Chris was known for his kind heart and loving nature. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, share a smile, or offer words of encouragement. His intelligence was evident in his thoughtful conversations and his ability to solve problems. Chris was courageous, facing his personal challenges with strength and grace.
