Christine McGahee

November 26, 1953 — April 16, 2024

Christine McGahee, 70, passed away on April 16, 2024, surrounded by family. Born on November 26, 1953, Chris was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Alice Massey and the wife of Andy McGahee. She was preceded in death by a brother, TK Massey of Boiling Springs, and beloved dog Bossman.

Surviving are two children: Jason (Judy) Arnold of Chesnee and Olivia Arnold Brackins (Bryan) of Union, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one sister Fran (Larry) Hyder of Boiling Springs, one sister-in-law Brenda Bridwell; one brother-in-law Danny McGahee, nieces and nephews, and two dogs Bossy Gal and Pete.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2024, from 5:00- 6:00 pm at Orchard Street Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will follow. Chris never met a horse or dog she didn't like.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society.
