Christina "Tina" Vaughn Byrnes

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christina "Tina" Vaughn Byrnes, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Tina was born on December 9, 1950, in Charlotte, NC, and passed away on February 2, 2023, in Greenville, SC. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John Byrnes.
Tina was a devoted mother to her daughter Meghan Byrnes Weinreich, son Michael Byrnes and stepchildren Bruce Byrnes and Catherine Byrnes Smoyer. She was a proud grandmother to her 8 grandchildren. Tina was known for her quick wit and infectious smile. She loved being involved in her church, St. Mary Magdalene as a longtime member of the choir and volunteer with several ministries.
Tina's hobbies included sewing, holiday baking, music, singing, and visiting with family and friends. She loved spending time with her dogs and was a supporter of animal welfare organizations. She touched the lives of everyone she met and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Tina will always be remembered for her love of laughter, her family, and her unwavering faith. She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
