Chris Burnett

January 20, 1983 — August 18, 2023

In the early morning hours of August 18, 2023, our beloved Chris Burnett, born on January 20, 1983, in Greenville, SC, was called home to be with the Lord. Chris was a man of many talents and a heart full of love, who lived his life with a spirit of joy and generosity that touched everyone he met.

Chris was a devoted husband to his wife, Karen Burnett, and a loving father to his children, Jayson Chesney, Chance Burnett, and Liah Burnett. He was a cherished son to his mother, Pam Beeman, and his late father, Bobby Beeman. Chris was also a beloved brother to Eric Beeman, a dear nephew to his Aunt Tracy Culpepper and Uncle Gene Burnett, and a treasured cousin to Lisa Fredrick, John Oliver, Brian Honeycutt, Josh Hooper, CJ Simmons, and Deless Simmons. He was also a loved stepson to Klinton Priest. His family was his pride and joy, and he loved them more than he loved himself.

Chris was a hardworking man who spent his days as a plumber, a profession he took great pride in. He was a man who believed in the value of hard work and the importance of providing for his family. His dedication to his craft was evident in the quality of his work and the respect he earned from his colleagues and clients.

But work was not all there was to Chris. He was a man of many interests and passions. He loved the outdoors, whether he was rebuilding bikes or simply enjoying the beauty of nature. He had a knack for making people laugh, and his sense of humor was infectious. Chris was also a man of the arts, with a love for singing and writing poetry. He was a black belt in Karate, a testament to his discipline and dedication. His love for animals was profound, and he treated every creature with kindness and respect.

Chris Burnett was a man who lived his life with love, humor, and thoughtfulness. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, and he would do it with a smile on his face. He was the kind of man who would make you laugh when you were feeling down, and he would do it without expecting anything in return. He was the kind of man who loved his family more than anything else in the world, and he showed it every day in the way he cared for them.

In the words of the good book, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Chris Burnett lived his life as a good and faithful servant to his family, his friends, and his community. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

As we say goodbye to our beloved Chris, let us remember him not with sorrow, but with joy. Let us remember his laughter, his kindness, his love for his family, and his passion for life. Let us remember him as he was - a loving, funny, and thoughtful man who made the world a better place.
