Chloe Issabella Rose

August 22, 1995 — January 2, 2025

Augusta, GA

Chloe Isabella Rose, formally known as Mitchell Blake Owen, known affectionately as Chloe, graced this world with her presence on August 22, 1995, in Greenville, SC, and departed on January 2, 2025, in Augusta, GA. Her life was a tapestry of love, intelligence, and courage, woven with the threads of her passions and relationships.

Chloe's early years were spent under the nurturing care of her mother, Connie Sloan, alongside her father, James Spencer Owen and most recently her stepfather, David. She grew up with her loving sisters, Victoria Shay Arledge, with her husband Daniel, and Courtney Lynn Gregory, with her husband Shawn. Chloe was a cherished niece to her uncles, Fred Ronald Lanning Jr. and the late William Adam Lanning, who was married to Jennifer. Her grandparents, the late Fred R. Lanning Sr. and Sharon Lanning, as well as her great-grandmothers, Ella Owen and Rita Powell, were integral parts of her life. Chloe's spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of her nieces, Alythia, Peyton, and Riley, and her nephews, E.J., Max, and Luca.

A graduate of her local high school, Chloe found joy and fulfillment in her work, where she skillfully operated forklifts. Her interests were as vibrant and diverse as her personality. Chloe was an avid bowler, a fearless skateboarder, and a devoted collector of magic and Pokémon cards. Her creative spirit shone through in her sewing, as she crafted many of her own beautiful dresses. Music flowed through her, evident in her proficiency with drums and guitar.

Chloe's love for her nieces and nephews was boundless; Alythia's hugs, Max's laughter, and E.J.'s admiration were sources of immense joy. She was a beacon of understanding and love, teaching them the beauty of diversity and acceptance. Her relationship with Laura Rayne Moore was a testament to the depth of her loving heart.

Chloe's life was a melody of authenticity and affection. Her legacy is one of living truthfully and loving fiercely. She will be profoundly missed, but her memory will be treasured forever.

"Gonna miss you sweet baby girl! Love you 4-ever," Love Mom.
