Charles Steven (Steve) Butler

Charles Steven (Steve) Butler, 51, of Greenville, SC passed away on October 12, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital due to a combination of health problems.  He is the son of the late Jack Stanford and Wilma Coleman Butler.  He leaves his wife, Kim Lee Butler; children, Jennifer Johnson, Stephanie (Butler) Baker and husband Wayne Baker, Allison Butler, Jack Butler II, Katye Lee, Scott Lee, Brett Butler and eight grandchildren.

Steve was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He attended Berea High School where he was a proud member of The Green Machine marching band and a student bus driver.

He enjoyed boating and water skiing, messing around with cars and racing at Greenville Pickens Speedway with his long time friend, Pete Mull.  As a father, one of his greatest joys was watching his children play youth sports and letting them do ride-alongs with him while he was working as a truck driver.
