Charles Franklin Smith

Charles Franklin Smith, 72, beloved husband of Davaa Kay Jackson Smith, passed away November 11, 2015.  Born in McCorkle, WV, Charles was a son of the late Eshel and Tressie Edith Dunlap Smith.  Mr. Smith was a coal miner in West Virginia, and retired as a diesel mechanic.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children and two step children, Karen Smith, Charles Smith, Jr., David Smith, Jesse Smith and his wife Cambria, Shane Watterson and his wife Sandy, and Christal Schindledecker and her husband Brad; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Charles was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  Predeceased were Orvle Smith, Azel Smith, Shelby Smith, and Ronald Smith.

A gathering will be at 4 PM, on Sat., Nov. 14 at the residence.
