Born on November 9, 1958, in Pickens, South Carolina, Dale's journey on this earth came to a close on June 21, 2023, in Taylors, South Carolina. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Dale was a man who knew the value of hard work and dedication. He was a pillar of strength for his family and friends, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. His work ethic was matched only by his passion for life, which he demonstrated through his many interests and hobbies.
A true country boy at heart, Dale found solace and joy in the great outdoors. He was an avid deer hunter and loved nothing more than spending time in nature, whether driving his tractor or exploring the countryside. Dale's love for racing classic cars was a testament to his adventurous spirit and appreciation for these timeless machines' beauty and power.
Dale's sense of humor and love for joking around was legendary, and he had a unique ability to light up any room with his infectious laughter. He was a loving, funny, and handyman who was always there for his family and friends, providing support, encouragement, and a shoulder to lean on.
Dale is survived by his loving fiancée, Tracy Taber; his son, Joshua Tabor; his siblings, Jeffery Key, Joy, Laura, and Stacey; Dale had an abundance of other family members he loved dearly, who will carry on his legacy of love and laughter.
