Charles Odis Holcombe, known to all as Odis, went to be with the Lord on August 7th, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Greenville Sc, on January 25th, 1943 to the late Charles Osbourn Holcombe and Hattie Lela Holcombe.
Odis graduated from Hobbs High School in New Mexico. After Graduation, he served in the Air Force for four years. He went on in life and became an International Contractor and the Ultimate Girl Dad. He retired from Anderson Hardwood Floors and enjoyed his free time fishing, shrimping, and building all kinds of things. Odis enjoyed the outdoors rain or shine.
Odis was survived by his Siblings Tony (Rita) Holcombe, and Loretta (JW) Minter. Daughters Tracy (Lewis) Bowers, Tina (Andy) McIntosh, Shelly Holcombe, Kelly Holcombe, and Amanda (Patrick) Greene. He was the proud Papa to 10 grandkids, 7 great-grandkids, and Brother-in-law John Medlin, Sister-in-law Kay Holcombe. He made many lifelong friends throughout his years one with special friend Larry Worthy.
He was preceded in death by his brother Larry Holcombe, and sister Deborah Smith- Medlin.
Services will be Sunday, August 13th, 2023, at the Cremation Society Of SC 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville Sc 29611. The family will receive friends from 2 pm with the service starting at 3 pm.
