Cathy Juanita Grady

Cathy Juanita Grady, 63, of Laurens, SC passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018. Cathy was born August 4, 1954 to the late William W. Poole and Wilma J. Childs Poole in Greenville, SC. She is survived by her husband Danny J. Grady of Laurens; daughter Tracy (Thomas) Church of Laurens, SC; nephew Randy (Kellie) Poole of Charleston, SC; niece Erica (David) Brown and children Hayley, Brianna, and Jay of Dacusville, SC. As well as many loved ones across South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, and Australia. Cathy is predeceased by her father, mother, and brother William M. Poole. She started her career along side her father in the textile industry, which later took her into retail. Cathy remained in retail and retail management until she retired in September 2016. A Celebration of Life Party will be held at her and Mr. Grady's home on Saturday, June 23, at 1pm. In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking for you to bring a dish, soda, chips, or a dessert of some kind. Cathy may have left this world but she will forever be in our hearts.
