Cathleen Redding Bryant was born on December 24th, 1933 in Greenville, SC to the late Wes and Lula Redding. Cathleen went to be with the Lord on January 17th, 2024 peacefully in bed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Bryant Sr.; her son, Bobby Ray Redding; her daughter, Carolyn Johnson; and 4 siblings RC Pete Redding, Larry Redding, Fred Redding, and Grace Ward. She leaves to cherish her loving sons Jessie Bryant Jr. of Liberty; Larry Bryant of Greenville, SC; and Edward Bryant of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by 8 granddaughters and 1 grandson, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Sister Cat loved her kids and grandkids very much and she had a nickname for them all. Cathleen enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips to Cherokee before her older age. She was a family-oriented woman and left behind a beautiful memory. She will be loved and missed by many.
Visitation will be at Cremation Society of South Carolina- Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC, 29611 on Thursday, January 25, 2024, with services to follow at 3 pm.
