Catherine Lynn Case

Catherine Lynn Case (Cathy), 48, of Laurens, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022. Born in Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Blanche Holcombe. She attended Southside High School and The University of South Carolina, Upstate. Cathy was free-spirited and loved her family, baking, animals, anything Disney and Peanuts. She especially enjoyed spending time with family at large gatherings during the holidays. Left to cherish Cathy’s memory are her husband Dennis Case, her daughters, Olivia Case and Caroline Case. Seven Brothers, George Holcombe, Steve Holcombe (April), David Holcombe (Pam), Ken Holcombe (Pippa), Merk Holcombe, Tom Holcombe (Lisa), Jim Holcombe (Mary), and Four Sisters, Melanie Porter (Jim), Christine Wuest, Patty Collins (Eddie), Angie Holcombe (Reba) and a sister-in-law Lynn Holcombe and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Cecilia Shepard and a brother, Roy Holcombe. The family will receive friends at 2:00 at Westville Funeral Home on Thursday, March 24, 2022, in the chapel with a small service following.
