Carolyn Taylor

Carolyn Taylor, 63, of 12 Maple Lane Travelers Rest, SC went home to heaven Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1:54 pm. She was an employee at New American Embroidery.
Carolyn is predeceased by her parents John D. and Edna Alice Looney, Marie Perry, and John David Looney.
She is survived by two daughters Tonya Thurston and Shayna Blackwell; son-in-laws Travis Sloan, Jeff Blackwell, and Larry Joe Thurston Jr; sisters, Wilma Greer, Joan smith, Thelma and David Stephens, Johnnie and Greg Johnston, Mary McCarson-Junior Pittman; brother John D. Looney Jr; grandchildren Daniel Thurston, Keisey Thurston, Abigail-David Bearden, Jeffery Blackwell, and Kimberly Phillips; and a great-grandchild John-David Bearden. Also her baby dog Dabo.
The family received friends and family Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:30 am at the home of Shayna Blackwell.
She was a wonderful mother, nanny, and our bestfriend.
She was our rock!
