Forever in our Hearts

Our beautiful and loving mother, Carolyn Bunch, went to be the Lord on Monday, August 5, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 27, 1938, in Greenville, SC. She married the love of her life, Bill Bunch on January 19, 1953. She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband Bill, and a devoted mother to their four daughters. 

She worked hard all of her life as an office manager until she retired in 2010

Carolyn loved her family more than anything. She raised her daughters in a Christian home and instilled the importance of good manners, respect and hard work. She was a great example of what it means to be a strong woman who loved the Lord. She loved her little dog, Mackie and enjoyed gardening and always had the prettiest yard in the neighborhood. 

Carolyn was kind and generous, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and everyone who met her loved her. She had the most beautiful smile that would warm your heart.

She is survived by her four daughters,Cris Rollins of Greer, SC, Lynn Barton and husband Randy of Marietta, SC, Brenda Donahoo of Liberty SC, Lisa Burden and husband Ted of Campbell, TX, her sister Debra Mugalla and husband Nick of Chesnee, SC, her sister, Nancy Greer of Marietta, SC and 12 grandchildren, Christy Fox, and husband Frank, Amanda Carson and husband Rolf, Stacey Wilson, Shane Burden and wife Marci, Chris Burden, Justin Burden, Lori Darden and husband Blake, Tasha Walters and husband Bill, Chad Black of Greer and his wife & kids, Tonya Travis, Kristen Hollifield and 17 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Haley, Brianna, Gregg, Ava, Mason, Chase C., Tanner, Chase B., Hunter, Addison, Bodie, Camden, Brent, Brynnie, Jayda, and Sara who will miss her dearly. 

She is predeceased in death by her brother, Theron.

A private service will be announced at a later date.
