1934-2023
Known to all as Tish, she was born in Chicago & grew up in White Plains, NY before moving to
Greenville in 1969.
Tish passed away peacefully on February 1, 2023, surrounded by family. Tish attended Lasell University in Auburndale, MA near Boston. In her late 40s, she embarked on a new career earning her RN in her late 40s. She worked at Memorial, Marshall Pickens, and Allen Bennett Hospitals with a keen interest in Psychiatry, retiring at 74.
Tish never met a stranger and was blessed with the gift of gab. To remind herself not to overstay her
welcome, she kept a favorite painting, The Talker, nearby. Her favorite hobbies were socializing, reading, and knitting.
Tish was pre-deceased by her parents, Emery & Carol Brugh & sister Judy Lane. Tish is survived
by children Jaci Bosshardt (Glenn), Evan Duffy III (Dawn) grandchildren Lauren (Byron) &
Zach Bosshardt & Taylor, sister Saralynn O’Keefe, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces &
grandnephews & her beloved Peek-a-Poo, Sugar Bear.
Tish was a lifelong animal lover and was predeceased by her Maltese, Precious.
Tish requested no formal services. The family plans to gather for a celebration in Southport, NC,
a favorite spot.
