Carlos Antonio Rivadeneira, 84, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Born in Quito, Ecuador, he came to the United States in 1962 and he settled in and made his home in Passaic, New Jersey. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Passaic.
He was a beloved husband of fifty four years to his wife, Elsa M. (Gordon) Rivadeneira; s devoted father to his daughter, Elsa Muse and her husband, Dwayne of Inman, South Carolina; his sons, Carlos Rivadeneira and his wife, Nancy of Boiling Springs, South Carolina and Paul Rivadeneira and his wife, Carmen of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; he was a loving grandfather to Michael, Daniel, Cesar, Michael and Raquel; he was the cherished great grandfather of Trinity.
A private family gathering is to be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals in Greenville.
