Carlos Manning Childs

On July 25th Carlos Manning Childs, 56, of Piedmont joined his loved ones in Heaven, leaving behind his wife of 36 yrs, Dawn VanNeel Childs. Surviving in addition to his wife is son Chip Childs of Gray Court, his son Jason Childs and daughter in law Lori Childs of Piedmont, and daughter Carla Barnett and her husband Christopher Barnett of Piedmont. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren Jordan, Makayla, Chelsea, Haley, Chylie, Canyon, and Cadence.

Carlos loved to hunt, fish, and ride 4-wheelers with his grandchildren. He was a organ donor and thru his donation he will help many. We hope our loss brings health and happiness to anyone he helped. He was a great gift to all that knew him and a great loss to all who didn't.

He will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Always loved and never forgotten. If you wish to join our family in saying goodbye we will be recieving visitors from 6-8pm on Wednesday July 31 at Westville Chapel, 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, S.C.

We will be having a memorial on August 3, 2013 at 4:00 pm at our home on 206 Osteen Hill Rd, Piedmont, S.C.
