Carl Edward Laws

Carl Edward Laws, fondly known as Ed, of Cleveland, SC passed away peacefully on April 18, 2023. Born on May 27, 1933, to Gordon Lewis Laws and Mami Viola Porch, he was the last of 8 children to pass.

Ed proudly served his country in the Army out of high school and retired and moved to Wilmington, NC after his career as a contract negotiator for the UAW in Lansing, MI. He relocated to Cleveland, SC in 2000 with his second wife Linda.

Ed is survived by his wife Linda L Ferguson Laws; his daughters Gail Lee, Donna Martin, Mary Daniels, and Lisa Whitman; his stepsons Thomas Greer and Terry Greer and 23 Grandchildren. He will be reunited in heaven with his children Lanny Laws, Beverly Pawlok, and his first wife Mary Lorene Harkey Laws.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be donated to Wounded Warrior Project.
