Carl William Brock

Carl William (Bill) Brock, 68, of Marietta, South Carolina passed away on December 6, 2016. He was born on February 29, 1948 in Canton, North Carolina to Ethel and Carl William Brock, Sr.
Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Though he was a plumber by trade, he was a preacher by calling. He often talked about how deeply God had blessed him and how much he missed his wife, Diane (Becky), who passed ten years before him.
He’s with them both now along with his brother, Kenneth, and all the other loved ones he’d been waiting to see again. We’ll miss his stories from the past and advice for the present and future. Heaven gained another angel, but his sudden and unexpected passing left a void in the hearts of everyone he left behind here on Earth.
Bill is survived by his three children, Stephanie Stubbs of Easley, South Carolina, Paul Brock of Marietta, South Carolina and Christina (Jason) Snyder of Des Moines, Iowa as well as his six grandchildren: Kaitlin, Caleb and Kinsley Stubbs of Easley and Chaz and Persephone Snyder and Ariadne Le Beau of Des Moines.
A visitation and memorial service will be held on December 12, 2016 at Westville Funerals from 2:00 to 4:00, and family will meet at the home of Stephanie Stubbs afterward. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
