Mr. Byron Lester Widener

It is with great sadness that the family of Byron L Widener announces his passing after a battle with heart disease, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the age of 61 years. Byron will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 28 years, Ellen and his children, Barry (Victoria) and Mark (Tracy). Byron will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, by his brothers, Jerry (Linda) and Ken (Janice), brothers in law and sister in law and many nieces and nephews. Byron was predeceased by his parents, Rev. Audley and Jeanette Widener.

A Funeral Service in memory of Byron will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Greenville First Assembly of God at 1105 Haywood Road, Greenville, SC at 6 pm. Visitation with the family will be held at the church from 5-6pm.
