Bruce Albert Hissong, 65, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina passed away on February 15, 2020 at his residence.
Bruce was born in Columbus, Ohio to Joseph and Elizabeth Margaret (Emertt) Hissong on August 9, 1954. He married Darla (Valentine) Hissong on April 22, 2009 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. Bruce retired from South Texas Drywall as a Master Carpenter. He enjoyed many hobbies, but most of all, model trains, Dale Earnhardt, Sr, Dale, Jr, and restoring classic cars.
Bruce is survived by wife, Darla Hissong, Fountain Inn, SC, daughter, Rhonda Hissong, Marysville, OH, son, Adam (Kristy) Breneman, Greer, SC, and Bob (April) Waller, Fountain Inn, SC. He is survived by brother-in-law, Henry “Richard” Conner of Camden, SC, sisters, Theresa (James) Smith, Lubbock, TX, Deborah Heifner, Richwood, OH, and Joseph Michael “Mike” Hissong, of Columbus, OH. Grandchildren, Ashton and Lennon Breneman, Greer, SC, Page (Nathan) West, Lane Waller, Coltin Waller, and great grandson, Brantley Waller, all of Fountain Inn, SC, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Janet Conner.
