Brian Dell Tucker, 43, of Pelzer, left this life early Monday morning on January 23, 2017 after a 14 month battle with brain cancer to receive complete healing with his Lord and Savior. He was the loving husband of Andrea “Nikki” Cisson Tucker of Pelzer. Brian was born on October 29, 1973 and grew up in Clinton, SC. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father, Roger Tucker of Clinton; mother, Pam Gossett (Gerald) of Prosperity; sister, Susan Kelly (Raymond) of Mountville; brother, Michael Tucker (Heather) of Clinton, 3 children; Cameron Tucker (Kellie) of Clinton, Alex Tucker (Hannah) of Laurens, Adreanne Tucker of Laurens; and 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandparents; George and Ruby Tucker and Marvin and Louise Hamilton, and a sister; Melissa Elaine Tucker. Prior to his diagnosis, Brian worked as a loom technician at Clinton Mills for 9 years, a service advisor at Cooper Motor Company for 4 years, and a machine setter for Timken in Honea Path and Clinton for over 12 years. He was a down to earth guy with an old soul who never met a stranger while trading or working on cars and driving his ’52 Chevy truck. Brian was a devoted husband, wonderful dad, and great friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at Beech Springs Tabernacle in Pelzer, SC on January 27 at 3PM. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Institute at Greenville Health System or the “Moving On” Program at the Life Center.
