Brian Keith Duncan, 59 years old, crossed over on Thursday evening; January 6, 2022.
Keith was born on May 22, 1962. He was the son of the late Franklin Duncan and the late Ann Nelson Duncan Knight. A lifelong resident of Greenville, Keith graduated from Greenville High School and attended the University of South Carolina.
Keith worked as a salesperson in the salon business for over 35 years. He first worked for Southern Beauty & Barber Supply, then for Davidson Beauty Supply after it bought Southern. Keith said he worked for his customers as much as he worked for his employer.
Keith was first an active and involved member of Augusta Road Baptist Church. Later, he joined Covenant United Methodist Church in Greer, SC. Keith sang in the choir, attended Sunday School, was a member of the men's Bible study, and served on committees. He was a member of the Sweet Spirit Southern gospel quartet for years.
Keith is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Griffin Duncan, of Greenville, SC, and his father-in-law, James Perrin Griffin of Ninety Six, SC. His sister was the late Kathy Ann Duncan of Florida. Keith is also survived by his sister-in-law, Susan Eddy Griffin Beard, and her husband, Grady Beard, both of Columbia, SC. Keith is survived by his five nephews, also; Luke William Beard, James David Beard, and Gavin (Janelle) Beard; all of Columbia, SC; Grayson (Lauren) Beard of Florence, SC; & Joshua (Kayren) Brandon Beard of Louisiana.
A memorial service at Covenant UMC in Greer, SC, is planned. The date and the time will be announced. Keith will be buried in the cemetery behind Ninethy Six Presbyterian Church in Ninety Six, Burial service will be private.
