Bradley " Brad " Christopher Key

Bradley “ Brad “ Christopher Key, 26, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed from this life on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at his home. Brad was born on November 1, 1990 in Easley, South Carolina to his parents, Scott Bradley Key and Teresa Marie (Dempsey) Key. He lived in the Upstate all of his life and worked as a Welder’s Assistant in the Fabrication Industry. He never met a stranger and was very outgoing. Many of his friends called him “Phonebook” for his ability to remember people and memorize their phone number.

Brad is preceded in death by his uncle, Jim Key; his paternal grandmother, Kay Key and his aunt, Tina Wilmington. Those who will cherish his memory are his father, Scott B. Key (Julie) of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; his mother, Teresa Key (fiancé, Don Rodgers) of Easley, South Carolina; his sister, Brittany Tompkins (Daniel) of Williamston, South Carolina; his twin brother, Brian Key of Piedmont, South Carolina; paternal grandfather, Willard E. Key of Greenville, South Carolina; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Linda Dempsey of Akron, Ohio; his step brother, Justin Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Brad's family will continue to cherish his legacy with the soon expected arrival of his son, Sebastian Bradley.

A gathering time to pay respects to the family will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. On Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina.
