Bobby Joe Simmons

Bobby Joe Simmons, 79, of Easley, South Carolina, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Baptist Easley Hospital in Easley following an illness. Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on February 23, 1939. Bobby was a simple man who loved spending time with his precious pets Gizmo and Louie. His other interests included his love for food...especially pound cake and ice cream. His best trait was his big heart and willingness to do anything to help someone in need. Bobby worked as a laborer and a repairman in the construction industry and he attended the Greer Memorial Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Simmons. Those who will most cherish his memory are his stepdaughter, Tina Edwards and daughter in law Joni Wood of Easley South Carolina; his step grandchildren, Joshua Nelson, Nicole McClain and Paul McClain. Special thanks to Jennie Wood for all of her support and Jan Burnett for her friendship.
