Bobby Ray resided in Pelzer, South Carolina, where he leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories.
Bobby Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Sandra DeMaris, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home filled with love and laughter. He was a dedicated father to his sons, Daryl DeMaris and Carl Herrell, and his daughters Donna Teskey, Tanya Spoon, Linda Herrell, Rhonda Monday, and Carla Burns. Bobby Ray's love and guidance will forever be treasured by his fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nora DeMaris, as well as his three brothers, James Edward DeMaris Jr., Charles William DeMaris, and John Henry DeMaris, and his sister, Isabel DeMaris. Bobby Ray is survived by his two brothers, Jessie DeMaris and David DeMaris, and two sisters, Betty Tucker and Mary Ann Davidson. His passing leaves a void in their lives, but his memory will continue to live on through the stories and cherished moments they shared.
Bobby Ray had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies and activities. He found solace in the tranquility of fishing, spending countless hours casting lines into peaceful waters. Throughout his career, Bobby Ray worked as a long-haul truck driver. He and his team driver his wife Sandra traversed countless miles, embracing the freedom of the open road. His dedication and hard work were unwavering, and his commitment to providing for his family was evident in every journey he undertook.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Bobby Ray was always ready to lend a helping hand. He willingly took on the "honey-do" list for his wife, Sandra, and her widowed sisters in Christ, ensuring that their needs were met and they felt loved and supported.
