Beverly Janice Williams

Beverly Janice Williams of Greenville, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 14, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma McQueen and W. M. McQueen, her brothers, Lanny and Edward McQueen; and her sister Marlene Altom. Beverly is survived by her husband of 54 years, William Ernest Williams; daughter Pamela Lester; brother Gary McQueen (Mildred); granddaughter Haley Newton (Jeremy); grandson Chaz Wood; nieces Michelle Springfield (Bill), Stephanie McQueen, and Elaine Tennes (Gene); and her nephews Steve McQueen, Eric McQueen (Lynn), and Brian Altom (Linda).

Beverly was a long-time member of Living Praise Church in Greenville, SC. The Church was a very important part of her life, and she made many lifelong friends there. She was a kind and caring soul, who cherished all of her many friendships. She loved checking in on her friends and family - she had the gift of gab, she could talk for hours.

Beverly enjoyed tending to her gardens, shopping, puzzles, and crafts - particularly crocheting. The Christmas holiday was always a special time in her house. Decorating was a passion of hers, and she went all out at Christmas time. Above all things, Beverly loved her family. Every moment spent with them was special. Her warmth and kindness have surely left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
