Beverly Jean Lowery Ambrose died June 15, 2021, at Open Arms Hospice in Simpsonville, S.C.Jean was born in Powdersville, S.C. on January 31, 1953.
She was raised by her grandparents Clint and Sallie Merritt in the Powdersville community. Jean spent her childhood attending Siloam Baptist Church and was a Wren High graduate, class of 1971. She is survived by 3 aunts, Ruth Jeffeaux, and Annette Freeman of Greenville, and Lou Ellen
Pruitt (Joe) of Easley. Jean is also survived by special cousins, Margaret Bloxdorf, Kathryn Fedele (Ray), Beth Davis (Robert), Jimmy Jeffeaux (Theresa), Aaron Merritt, and Sydney Merritt, Garrett Pruitt (Beth), and Brent Pruitt (Alaina). Before retirement, she worked at Glenwood Mill
and later at assisted living centers in Easley.
