Betty Jean Madden, 65, of Easley, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center Easley. Born in Pickens, SC at Cannon Memorial Hospital, she was the loving wife of Robert E. Madden and the daughter of the late Oscar L. and Lula Agnes McCall.
Betty retired from the Pickens County School District where she’d been a Special Needs Bus Driver for 33 years. She loved the children in her care and always kept in touch with those she could.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Victoria J. Madden-Wilson and her grandchildren Robert Caleb Pitts and Canyon Edward Wilson. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by uncles Vance and Jesse McGaha; brother-in-laws Jack, Joel, Leroy, Ronnie and Donnie Madden and sister-in-laws Martha Davis and Mary Lee.
The Funeral will be held at Westville Funeral Home Chapel Greenville, SC, on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation with the friends and family will start at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Isaqueena Church of God Salem, S.C.
