Betsy Young Eye, 22, died peacefully and went to be with the Lord Saturday April 22 due to a life long battle with chronic illness.Betsy had planned to attend College with the hope of becoming a nurse. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She was active with the Girl Scouts for twelve years earning a Silver Star. She also earned Red Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. She enjoyed volunteering and was active with the "Make A Wish"Foundation. Defenders for Children, Roper Mountain Science Center and the City of Greenville. Betsy was dearly loved by all who knew her with her bright smile and a contagious laugh. she brought joy to many. She was also an inspiration to many as she battled her illness with a positive attitude, determination, strength and courage. She is survived by her father, Stephen, mother, Beverly, sister, Stephanie, nephew, Logan, along with many friends and other family. A service will be held Monday, May 1 at 4 pm at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 910 Hudson Road Greenville, SC 29615.
