Bessie Holloway

Bessie (Lee) Holloway, of 228 Big Creek Lane of Piedmont, SC., passed away in her home on August 24, 2015 of natural causes.  Born November 8, 1933, she was a native of Greenville and a member of Jones Hill Church of God.  She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Deborah Medford of Tulsa, OK, Jerry Holloway Sr. of the home, Sheryl Patton of Piedmont, SC, Timothy Holloway of Jefferson City, TN, Wanda Elston of Spartanburg, SC.  She was predeceased by her husband Cephas Holloway Sr. and two sons, Cephas (Gene) Holloway Jr. and Michael Holloway; two grandsons, Stephen Raxter, and Timothy Taylor, and a great grandson Benjamin Price.  Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.  The family will receive family and friends on Thursday from 2pm-4pm on August 27, 2015 at Westville Funeral Home, 6010 White Horse Rd. Greenville.  Funeral services will be Friday August 28, 2015 at 12:00pm at Jones Hill Church of God, 1014 Dalton Rd. Marietta, SC 29661.  Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Gordon H. Hagar.  Burial will follow at graveside.
