Bernard J "Jim" Shuster

Bernard J."Jim" Shuster passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital near his home in Greenville South Carolina following intermittent hospitalization in recent weeks and complications related to existing medical conditions. Prior to his recent downturn, he enjoyed an excellent quality of life and health throughout his nearly 89 years, including the last 4 years during which he slowed down a bit with some deteriorating health, but not much!

Jim was born August 28, 1934 in Cleveland Ohio to Rose (Blenkush) Shuster and Frank J. Shuster. He was one of 9 siblings and is survived by his sister Irene (Shuster) Spisak, and many wonderful nieces and nephews from siblings Irene, John, Tom, Joe, Larry, Jerry, and Mary. Also surviving are his 3 sons Dennis(Nancy), Art and Chuck(Lynne Clark), as well as 3 grandchildren Madison (Dennis), Laurel (Art), and Catie (Chuck), and one great grandchild Hazel (Laurel).

Jim was preceded in death by his wife Nancy (Pontremoli) Shuster in December 2022, and their much loved pup Rowdy. He missed them very much.

There will not be a memorial service, but please share photos and other memories here and we'll hope to compile a photo memorial at a later time to be posted here.

We will miss him greatly. Rest in peace, Dad.
