Ben Furman Robinson, 90, went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2014. Born in Pickens County, Ben was a son of the late Blumer and Lula Brown Robinson. Ben served in the US Army in WWII, and was retired from Brandon Mill in Greenville.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda Smith (Jim), Nonnie Wright, and Kim Robinson; seven grandchildren, Renee Hurley, Wendy Brooks, Larry Phillips, Chad Hurley, April Robinson, Jordan Robinson, and Isaiah Robinson; and eight great grandchildren, Christopher, Kamre, Marybeth, Logan, Bailey, Jaydan, Makayla, and Jackson. Predeceased was a son, John Robinson.
Services will be held at Russell Community Church, Calhoun Ave., Greenville on Dec. 12. Visitation will be from from 1PM-2PM with the funeral at 2PM. Burial will follow at Antioch Methodist Church. CSSC-Westville Funerals (864) 269-5073
